Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, Parmigiano Reggiano, cotechino , Lambrusco and fresh egg pasta are the foundation stones of this Italian food stronghold. Milestones that tell us a story, suspended between modernity and traditions, past and present, ancient castles and fast cars.
Gnocco or tigella? That is the question… Quoting the famous Shakespeare expression, we refer to the topic that most of all distinguishes our land: a single territory, plenty of different food traditions!
The culinary disputes between Modena and Bologna is famous even outside local borders: both cities boast the authorship of some of the most representative recipes, like tortellini. As consequence, it is hard to agree even on the names of local food, let alone the authentic recipes!
We ask for your help settling some of the oldest challenges by visiting Modena with us, an elegant and stately town in the heart of the Emilian land, a reference point for food lovers from all over the world.
